Housing Prices Show Marginal Increase

In a report which generally indicates a marginally good overall change for buyers in the housing market, the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Index showed marginal growth in the overall prices of homes in the November-December timeframe, as reported by Forbes.com.

Although some markets in the USA showed double digit growth in the price of homes, there were no markets in Tennessee which showed growth--- as yet.  This allows potential homeowners in Tennessee, specifically, to search out homes and still purchase in a marketplace which does not show immediate indications of rising.

The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Index is a highly respected indicator of trends occurring across the USA during immediately past timeframes, and is based upon generally accepted criteria for measurement.
